The Effects of Different Antioxidant Agents on the Microtensile Bond Strength of Composite Resin to Bleached Enamel

Objective: The objective of this in vitro study is to examine the effect antioxidants on bonding strength composite resin bleached enamel. Materials and Methods: One hundred twenty non decay teeth were used study. Specimens cut from enamel cement junction. Then specimens randomly assigned into two groups-office bleaching home bleaching. Bleaching applied first 12 subgroups. remaining groups kept artificial saliva for 14 days applied. Composite restoration was all specimens. A cutting device employed obtain six (0.9mm) each tooth, microtensile bond (μTBS) test performed. Data analyzed using one-way ANOVA, paired t-test, Duncan’s post hoc (p=0.05). Results: In office specimens, immediate antioxidant application increased μTBS values (p<0.05). Comparisons individually revealed that after weeks subjected (p>0.05). Mean which higher than those immediately. Conclusion: use may increase MTBS value. clinician should take account especially applications
